Simon Mundy is the Moral Money Editor at the Financial Times, covering sustainability issues for the award-winning Moral Money platform and across the wider FT. He joined the FT in Johannesburg to cover Southern Africa, before a period writing on the London business sector. He then spent seven years in Asia, heading the FT bureaux in Seoul and Mumbai, before two years travelling across six continents to research Race for Tomorrow, a book on the global scramble to respond to climate change.

Anna-Marie Slot is Ashurst's first Global ESG and Sustainability Partner, appointed in 2019, and the Global Head of High Yield Debt. Anna-Marie has two decades of experience acting for investment banks and companies in a wide range of corporate finance and securities transactions, including high yield debt offerings, green bonds, liability management including consents and tender offers, refinancings and numerous securities transactions, such as Rule 144A and Regulation S debt and equity offerings, as well as mezzanine debt investments and senior credit facilities.

As the Global ESG Partner she leads the firm's ESG strategy through engagement with clients and internally. She is co-head of the Fintech Legal Labs focusing on the intersection of fintech and sustainability.

Anna-Marie has been named as one of the world's top 300 female transactional lawyers in IFLR1000 Women Leaders for 2020, 2019 and 2018 for debt capital markets and banking. She is also listed as a leading individual for debt capital markets and high yield in Asia Pacific Legal 500, IFLR 1000 and Chambers Asia-Pacific. Prior to joining Ashurst, Anna-Marie worked in London and Hong Kong at a leading international law firm headquartered in the US. She has also worked in both New York and London for a major New York law firm.

Ginny Wilmerding is a Hong Kong based Partner at FGS Global, the advisor to the stakeholder economy (FGS Global was re-branded in June 2022 following the merger of Finsbury Glover Hering and Sard Verbinnen).

An American with 19 years of experience on the ground in Greater China and 10 years in the U.S., Ginny counsels Asian and multinational corporations on a wide variety of critical issues, including geopolitics, investor relations, financial situations, and reputation management. She is FGS Global’s lead on ESG Advisory for the Asia-Pacific region, and past ESG mandates include work for Alibaba Group and H&M.

Ginny is also an Independent Non-Executive Director on the board of a Hang Seng Index company, Techtronic Industries (HK.0669, “TTI”), where she serves on the Nominating and Governance Committee and helps the Board on ESG issues and sustainability governance. Ginny recently completed the CFA Institute Certificate in ESG Investing, and in 2021 she earned the Financial Times Non-Executive Director Diploma. She is also a founding steering committee member of the 30% Club Hong Kong, which advocates for gender diversity on boards, and she was a Board Trustee of Princeton in Asia for 24 years.

Before joining FGS Global, Ginny was a partner with Brunswick Group, and during nearly 11 years with the firm helped to grow the Asian business and team more than five-fold. Other corporate experience includes business development roles for Hutchison Whampoa and AT&T in Hong Kong and Shanghai and heading corporate affairs for American PE-backed Internet services companies. Ginny regularly writes on current affairs, and she published a business advice book for women in 2006 (Wiley).

Ginny holds a BA in East Asian Studies from Princeton University and speaks and reads Chinese.

Charles Yonts has been working as the Head of Asian ESG Research at Macquarie since 2020, based out of Singapore. He has spearheaded ESG integration efforts for the team, rolling out proprietary corporate governance and sustainability scores alongside the c.80 stock analysts around the region. Before joining Macquarie, Charles led the ESG and Power Research teams at CLSA, where he worked for fifteen years from Hong Kong and Taipei. He also directly covered Greater China climate tech stocks from 2004, and was the top-rated earnings estimator for Asian Utilities in both 2018 and 2019 according to Starminer. Charles has a BS in Finance from the University of Minnesota, and studied Chinese language and economics at Fudan University in Shanghai.
